Burning Man

Photos from Burning Man 2015. The art theme this year was "Carnival of Mirrors."

Our theme camp is Ganesh Camp and we bring to share, among other things, an Indian celebration tent. The tent features beautiful gold embroidery, and desert travelers can find respite from the heat and dust, and recharge body and soul. I was part of early setup and stayed until the end of Exodus on Tuesday noon.

Sunset on Saturday

For 24 hours early setup crew had been unable to work due to a howling dust storm. We were dusty desert rats using the truck as a wind block; drinking beer and waiting for the wind to die down was our main occupation. It was our "Camp Janky" period. But the storm was now behind us, and soon the kitchen and Ganesh tent would be raised!

He wasn't Duper then, but quickly became so since everything was, from his perspective, "Super Duper!"
