Owl Trail

A hike from the Muir Beach overlook down to Slide Ranch. The Marin coast is rugged and feels remote, despite being just north of the Golden Gate.

I'm using my iPhone as a GPS tracker, and have geotagged this set. The coordinates on each detail page link to a terrain view on Google Maps.

I love this view down the coast, with Muir Beach just visible in the background.

Owl Trail

Owl Trail is mostly exposed terrain, primarily chaparral. The Slide Ranch geodesic dome and campsite is to the left, and the yurt is farther right (north).

Not a bad place to hang out.

It's a working demonstration farm. Quite a good gig for farm animals.

The birds are all free range.
