Royal Gorge

Besides downhill we skied Royal Gorge, which is a humongous cross country area near Sugar Bowl.

On top of Mt. Diablo.

We were in luck, and had great visibility under blue California skies.

Mt. Diablo's Shadow

On clear evenings at sunset, Mt. Diablo throws a long shadow. It slowly reaches out across the central valley, eventually touching the foothills almost 50 miles away.
