Andrei's Boat at the Tower of Babel - 2003
George, Lisa, Cat and Scott in Andrei's boat, in front of the Tower of Babel. The tower was first built and brought to the playa in 2000. It has been a tower, a lighthouse, and in 2003 evolved to become the Tower of Babel. The Tower of Babel returned to the Playa with Ganesh camp in 2010.
Beacon - 2007
This was the most amazing large scale art installation. It was huge and gave off deep organic vibrations. I never saw it again; it disappeared. I think the artist removed it early, both as an artistic statement and as a prank. It established itself as a key nighttime beacon... and then vanished.
